Rubbish, (non native) grey squirrels, various sorts of (non native)
deer, especially fallow and rabbits even are a menice to both native
and edible woodlands.

squirrels or something then ALF idiot? - maybe you could 'love them
up' and try and get those boys to stop destroying everything in sight.


I would urge all woodland owners/managers to face up to the ultimate
horror of having deer, squirrels and rabbits executed on their land.
There are people who will shoot these invasive and destructive animals
and eat them - or maybe sell the deermeat. The going rate is £10/
acre...but you need to find someone good. The situation NEEDS TO BE
DEALT WITH URGENTLY because regeration of trees is being sppressed by
the explosion of deer numbers. Grey squirrels are also trashing lots
of woodland.
