BT help the environment

I wonder if Angus uses BT for his telephone service. If so, he may have received, or be about to receive, the following communication from them:

-----------------------------------------------------
To help the environment and reduce the millions of paper bills we produce every year, we are upgrading our online billing customers to paper-free billing in the coming weeks.

We will upgrade you to paper-free billing shortly after 10-MAR-08.

You may receive one more paper bill before your paper-free billing comes into effect.

Once you’ve been upgraded:

- We'll continue to send you an email when your BT bills are ready to view and pay online. - You can view up to six months' bills online, including calls made up to the previous night. - Your Direct Debit or Monthly Payment Plan agreements won’t change. - You'll be helping the environment by reducing the amount of paper we use. - The Woodland Trust will plant a sapling on your behalf. Over 500,000 saplings have already been planted by BT customers going paper-free - that's equivalent to 500 full size football pitches!
------------------------------------------------------

You're fond of trees, Angus, as the owner of an "unmanaged" woodland, so doubtless, if you use BT, you will be absolutely delighted with this help you will be giving the environment and the fine work the Woodland Trust will carry out on your behalf :-))
