So what's behind all this?

Conservation management, Angus.

Conservation vandalism and screwing the taxpayer for money.

Your ill-informed and highly prejudiced opinion.

No Malcolm. You're the one that's highly prejudiced against school
leavers. Remember this?

?Malcolm, it must be what a teacher feels like after trying to drum
something into the head of the dullard who is going to leave school
with a single 'O' grade. There's only so much that someone so
intellectually challenged can understand. The problem will come in
later life, when an inability to grasp concepts, not to mention be
able to understand the meanings of words, will seriously let them
down, to the point when, how ever often they are told something, they
merely repeat, as a rote, statements and claims which they think are
very telling but, in fact, were meaningless or just plain wrong the
first time, and continue to be so regardless of how many times they
are repeated. The situation will be even worse if, during their lives,
they have gained absolutely no personal knowledge of the subjects
about which they spout and thus are completely unable to comprehend
anyone who points out that their ignorance is letting them down.?

leaving school with one O Grade.

Is it something to do with "improving" the site for tourism and to
hell with the squirrels?

No, Angus, if you think that after reading the article, then it is
obvious that your anti-conservation obsession has blinded your ability
to comprehend plain English.

But not necessarily the truth.

Fine, if you want to assume that this media report is not telling the
truth, then that brings us back to the earlier media report you referred
us to with its claim of 200 red squirrels in Anglesey, which you said
had to be "accurate". If you don't think this one is telling the truth,
why were you so insistent the earlier one was?

I didn't say the media wasn't telling the truth. It's most likely the
fake conservationists are lying and using conservation as a way of
increasing tourism. Like you are your lot do.

But from above you obviously think the media are telling the truth, so
why not when they said 200 squirrels in Anglesey?

Is it another example of fake conservation?

No, Angus, as it made abundantly clear in the article.

How do you work that out if you think there's no such thing as "fake"
conservationists?

Easily. As there is no such thing as "fake conservation", it can't be
"another example" of it, can it?

:-))

You've grinned too soon :-)

No, you have.

If there's no fake conservation for there to be an example made of,
then it couldn't have been made abundantly clear in the article.

:-)))

First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
