I'm pretty sure I read a report to the effect his post mortem revealed
lesions in his lungs, attributed to early stage TB. I may be mistaken,

The report I read said they had found lesions "typical" of those with
TB.

But presumably all this was done behind closed doors and there would
have been pressure to find evidence that the animal had TB to justify
it's slaughter.

Just Imaging the outcry and embarrassment if the animal had been found
to be fit and healthy.

I'm afraid I don't trust government and their lackeys one bit.

Oh look, the typical reaction of someone who can't face the facts - a
conspiracy theory :-((

No Malcolm. Just a knowledge that the elected government in the UK
doesn't tell the truth.

A conspiracy theorist who doesn't want to believe that Shambo had TB would
say that, wouldn't they?

A conspiracy theorist who no longer trusts officialdom would probably say
that whether or not he wished to believe Shambo had TB :-)
