How do I stop those damn grey tree rats from stealing my bird food

They're good at what they do.

Any ideas?

Don't be a meanie. Let them have some.

We feed birds and whatever else in our garden all year and don't gripe
about non target species. And it only costs us about a fiver a week.

Costco sells good bird seed for £4.19 for 12 1/2 kilos.

We have hordes of little birds, crows, rooks, magpies, blackbirds,
pigeons, pheasants, mallard ducks, a couple of squirrels and an old
rat who used to come out of the base of a tree - but we haven't seen
him lately.

And grey squirrels are no more tree rats than red ones. Read the
