So you are suggesting 80% of the animals brought to them can't be saved?
"And, again according to ActivistCash, PeTA collected almost $29 million
in contributions in 2004 alone, and it's shelter is best known for
snuffing roughly 80% of the animals it takes in, a far higher percentage
than other, smaller and impoverished shelters in its vicinity kill, a
total kill-off of about 12,400 animals over the past 5.5 years alone."
So you obviously approve of them killing 12,400 animals. How very odd.
I very much depends of the circumstance by which an average of 2254
which amounts to 6 animals a day average. It is not beyond normal
comprehension that a centre such a PETA's might well have that number
of animals brought in injured or sick that their vets might consider
they can't save.
As I said, it depends on the circumstances. If you think they are
destroying animals for no reason, please say so and I'll take it up
with them.
take in. Are you saying the quote is wrong or are you saying 80% of the
animals can't be saved.
Alternatively you might like to check the quote and or the facts.
Are you saying they are destroying animals indiscriminately and for no
reason?
Angus do please at least try to understand what I wrote. I did not
write the quote above. However **IT** clearly says "they destroy 80% of
the animals they take in".
I asked you if **YOU** were suggesting that the 80% quoted were all
unable to be saved as your post suggested the reason they destroyed
animals was only because they couldn't be saved.
The alternative is I assume you have some reason to believe the quote to
be wrong. If you have please post it as I would like to know.
If you think PETA are destroying animals indiscriminately please say
so and if you are not willing to take it up with them I will.
I don't know the circumstances.
