The problem with the slow burn powder is that all that flame is energy that didn't get used to propel the bullet so if you ever did have to shoot in earnest, the ballistic energy may not be enough for good stopping power plus the muzzle flash will leave you too blind at night to re-acquire the target in the event a second shot is needed. ...
