He can't really imagine that the 'study' was a direct response to your
campaigns, can he? After all, you've been saying for ages that one of the
prime motivations of the nature conservation lobby (especially the RSPB) has
been the exploitation of the conserved populations as tourist resources, and
the exercise reported seems to have been designed to illustrate just how
successfully that has been achieved.
