You obviously don't know much about birds.

It would appear Malcolm that Angus has really shot his bolt.

He has got so tied up that he unable to answer even the simplest of
points and resorts to abuse.

Yes, it's interesting isn't it that, while repeatedly denying he is an
expert, he claims to know sufficient about the birds at bird reserves to
be able to state that there is a risk in visiting them, yet when I
mention birds close to his home he can't accept that if there is a risk
at bird reserves there must also be a risk to him, his loved ones and
visitors to his home.

No Malcolm. The disease seems most prevalent in waterfowl and as far
as I am aware there has never been any alert or suggestion that
poultry should be kept away from swallows - unless with your
supposedly vast knowledge of birds you know differently.

In the area where the infection was found, large numbers of waterfowl
congregate on bird reserves and any one of these could be infected and
not showing the symptoms.

The unexpected can happen at any time. Staying away from birds
reserves in an area where the infection has been identified is a
prudent suggestion.

It is acknowledged that if the virus mutates then it could kill
10,000 school children. That was announced recently.

If that's not a risk I don't know what is.
