No, you're quite wrong there. Hitler might be regarded as mad by some
but it must be acknowledged that he was voted Chancellor by the
majority of Germans. And the Jews were not really persecuted for their
beliefs they were persecuted for their success.

Sure mink prey on water voles (or water rats as they are known) but
there are other causes for thier decline. Habitat loss, Population
fragmentation, Pollution, Persecution, Drying out and flooding of
dikes/ditches, Development Pressure; so it's not all down to the mink.

I don't think water voles are Hitler either but I do think that
so-called conservation groups that kill mink for the purpose of
improving the lot of the water vole are acting in exactly the same way
as Hitler did when he persecuted the Jews to improve the lot of the
Aryans who could be described as "native sons".

Not at all. It is not killing water voles to improve it's or any
other's habitat.

It doesn't give humans the right to massacre the mink who could be
regarded as the meek in relation to us. Vegetarian mamals have always
been prey to carnivorous predators.

I agree.

I have no problem with mink being trapped and resettled somewhere that
will not affect the water vole. But I am absolutely against killing
them for what they do naturally through no fault of their own. Mink
can't help being in Britain.

What about mercy for the mink who finds himself here through no fault
of his own. Should he be executed for this?

>All things are not equal in Britain...

I agree.

He's probably as much a victin of the mink as the mink is of man.

Hunting for fun and recreation is disgusting IMO
