I didn't say anyone did, I gave that as an example of one extreme view.

But it's an extreme view that I don't believe anybody in the world has
ever held, so what is the point of mentioning it?

business or run your own company?

Yes. I am the director of an Internet services company. I also ran a
(fairly well known, in Macintosh circles) computer consultancy business
for most of a decade (until 2005 when I decided to become a
schoolteacher).

What is the extent of your teaching experience?

I have taught at degree level since 1992 (I still do), though my
schoolteaching experience is of course much more recent.
