My educational philosophy entirely! In fact, after 14 years old kids should
be free to REALLY choose what they want to do. (My father left school at
twelve and went to work in the fields.) Of course we do not want
exploitation, but given a decent wage and reasonable working conditions for
the kids who do the work, why not buy a mid or far east carpet? Here in
Barbados some kids (!?) are still living at home at 30 years old, and still
not in full-time work. Barry AC
