So you bought a brand new laptop for its wireless ability for one
coarse?

No.
I said I needed to upgrade my 10 year old laptop.

By the time I tried to squeeze on a new OS and Office version and
network thing it was better to buy a new one.

It's a backup to my desktop in case it goes t*ts up.

I've always had the laptop for that.

The old laptop I could now bring in to school as 2 of us have PPA at
the same time and there is only one room/pooter for it.

So why not reap the benefits of all its functionality?
