If it is an automatic door, you just walk up to it and it will open.
If it doesn't then it isn't an automatic door.

It has to be unlocked in the morning, otherwise the burglars would
just have to walk up to it at night and get in.

We're also hoping we can disable it during the day, to slow the kids
down getting out, or is that in?

And how do you stop the child molesters and mad axemen getting in? Or is
that out? Seems a bit odd to have an automatic door if you are then
hoping to be able to disable it. I'm sure manual doors are cheaper.
