Liz wirtriplied:
I've calmed down now. It's just that I had another birthday. They
seem to come around so frequently these days. Has somebody speeded up
time?
Time doesn't exist. So it doesn't get speedied up. We have those
moments ("in and out of time" as T.S. Eliot puts it) in which the
whole universe stops, expands, takes us into its core and a hundred
years might become three seconds. But for the most part, we have our
breakfast and suddenly its tea time again.
Only for Pooh bear and company exist the long summer days that last
forever...
<Freeze> Sorry, gone off on one again... <Flop>
