I've still got my BT e-mail (the basic one) even though my broadband is
Wanadoo. You may be okay.

I agree with the Pope about the LEA site and the BTinternet site. If you
move from BT, you're likely to lose the webspace you have there.

If getting broadband from someone else, you could ask for your BT
account to revert to a pay-as-you-go account so that you retain the
email address and the web space. You will have to connect via dial-up to
that account every couple of months to keep it alive.
