How do I get rid of that?

You could give it away after reformatting the hard drive, but the
absiolute safest way is to open the case, take out the hard drive, and
take a hammer to it. (When you've done with it, of course). Most
satisfying!

I'm about to do that to the HT's old machine.
Can't wait!
