Any tried and tested short activities for this time of year when
*nobody* wants to work?
Watching videos?
:o)
We're not allowed to stop working and do that sort of thing till next
Tuesday afternoon.
Which one haven't we seen?
Up until they recently re-released it, I had great success with
'Bedknobs and Broomsticks' - none of the children had seen it and it
made such a difference to how quietly they watched it. The problem is,
they keep on rereleasing and readvertising the old stuff. I had a
similar experience with 'The Nightmare before Christmas'.
I might try Pete's Dragon, though it's looking a little dated now.
Ususally they haven't seen 'Little Shop of Horrors' but there are one or
two swear words in it (a 'sh1t' or two), so I'm wary with some pupils.
Will you referee the fight for the TV?
TV? How last year! Haven't you got the video linked up to the projector
yet?
Thank god for whiteboards!!
We also video the children's performances, and they love watching those.
