We have a problem with staff checking their texts in school time and
another answering her mobile several times in staff meetings.
I was brought up being told that you don't take phone calls during
work time.
It's in our staff handbook that you can't answer your phone during school
time,
We were told during a staff meeting recently.
but we do have the problem of phone calls in staff meetings. Usually
the excuse of children needing to contact their mum.
That's just bad planning.
What did they do before mobiles were invented?
I agree, but in this case there were 'issues' (which just needed a stern
talking-to IMHO).
