I was reading the TES staffroom forums this weekend when I came across a<><

and so that is what I thought. Until I read the symptoms for this type of
migraine e.g. numbness and tingling down one side of the body including the
face and mouth and absence of pain until after the aura has gone.
I never knew that there were different types of migraine. Did the
article say how common this is, Jennie? We do have a few students
with genuine migraine (rather than the inflated headache that some use
to get a day off) and it is possible we should be watching for the
symptoms.
And I really do think that your consultant should have been more
specific. The more we know about our "conditions", the better we are
able to handle them.
