One of the cherubs, trying to distract me, asked if I had a husband today. When I said no they decided I must have a boyfriend. They even have his name - Bob. They proceeded to tell all the other members of staff they saw about him.

When I started teaching, I was warned (by another teacher) not to sit next to the same female teacher at the lunch table more than one day in a row or the pupils would assume we were an "item"!

Yep, I pretty much find that my year 3s make that kind of leap all the time.
Seemingly, the student who worked with me last term was my brother.
I am also apparently married to my year 3 colleague. In fact, I think I have been married or dating most of my various year group colleagues over the years. I must be very popular or some kind of dreadful, two-timing cad!
