Ambition

Spoke to a young teacher in my school today, whois keen, ambitious and hardworking. they are looking for new challenges, wanting to take on new things and willing to try almost anything. It made me feel old, as I used to be like that, and although it still feels like the beginning of the year much of the positive thoughts I tried to have are being eroded.
What do you do suggest I do to keep positive ? I really want to project a positive attitude, as I know how easy it can be to catch negativity from others.
