School Sports Day

In the primary school I work at, our sports day is Tuesday next. Weather forecast says HOT. Anyone ever cancelled sports day because it was too hot ? I've cancelled in the past for rain, shortened it because of heat, but should we cancel ? Not my choice to have it in the last week, staff decision.
