Re: An alternative '12 books that changed the world' list

On Wed, 29 Mar 2006 00:05:27 +0100, Kath a gribouillé dans la poussière...

So what I want to know is: "what books would you have on the list, that
the average person on the street may have heard of, and actually read?"
('Cos I don't know about you lot, but I've heard of 4 of the above and
read 1 of them, and that was only in R.E. lessons).

Any genre, from sci-fi to humour.

Books that had some noticeable affect on my thinking and the way I live my
life...

Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance - Robert Pirsig
Physical fitness, RCAF XBX 12-minute-a-day-plan for women
One flew over the cuckoos nest - Ken Kesey
Making history - Stephen Fry
Illusions - Richard Bach
Travels - Michael Crichton

Go not to the surrealists for counsel, for they will say both blue and hippopotamus.
