Well, we did the enrolments. Phew! Up and down the stairs to fetch
pens and missing paperwork, guiding new students around from room to
room, checking GCSE certificates, tidying up after, and then helping
to phone the "no shows" to ask why and do they want another chance to
join us... It was actually only a bit longer than the morning, but
I'm exhausted. This work stuff is not for me. How can they expect
it?
