Just one comment. Plan well in advance. Nothing turns prospective
users off more than bad links, poor direction/redireection, etc.. So
long as you have a substantial site design from the start you will be
able to make *minor* changes later, or even redesign on the side an
entirely new approach to then replace the first at a rather later
date, the second being more complete. Whatever you do, don't offer
bits and pieces, but a reasonably full slate. People will then return
to see new developments. First impressions do work for or against.
