I'd agree with the first part, but the last is out of line. Step
outside now and then and take a peek at the general population ...all
of it ...the lawyers, the bricklayers, the concert pianists, the rock
stars, the pimps and prostitutes, the playwrights and actors.... The
"school pupils" encompasses absolutely every one of those, without
exception, and not everyone is either as keen on the subject, nor as
capable as you, nor will or can be, nor needs be. All the wishful
thinking in the world will not change that. For some, "the correct
answer" is as great an accomplishment as your thesis. Perhaps greater
for them, for all of the relative effort involved to get even to that
point.
You will love "The pirate problem" from what you say about your own
interests. Look it up, and search for George Gamow perhaps, it's
original author.
