completely OT, but please help

Can sb please explain to me, why all the messages from this group get
automatically deleted once a week?
I subscribe to many different groups from all over the world, my computer is
set not to delete any messages automatically and it generally obeys my
orders :). Everything is fine with all other news groups except this one.
Why? What's the trick?
