Hmm, don't think so. As I say, it is pretty universal as far a I know.
You must hold the Alt key down while typing the number (which appears
when you release the Alt key). Sometimes though it wan't a 0 before
the number, so perhaps try that;

I believe you have to use the numeric keypad, not the ones on the top row.
