We had an extremely bad storm here last night! I've spent the day
between my home and my Mum's home, cleaning up downed trees, checking
her oxygen tanks, praying that the stuff in the freezer stays frozen,
and discovering that most of our electronic equipment has now been
fried! I'd gladly take a few little starlings in exchange.


You may have misunderstood.
I provided the blueberries for the purpose of feeding the starlings.
I sought to take advantage of the opportunity to watch them enjoying the food.
I try always to share what I have with the other species who share the place where I live.
