A friend who works for Biddles, a local book maker (they prefer to call
themselves book manufacturers), occasionally lends me a vanity gem they've
printed that he thinks I'll appreciate. Like Mark Twain, I delight in
hogwash literature.

Did you ever see the Ramsey Campbell article in Shock Xpress? He reviewed a
book published by the "Book Guild" called Science Fiction stories. It
sounded so bad I just wanted to get a copy, but could never find it.

The Internet seems awash with self-published stuff. It's a great confidence
boost.:-)
