Hi All
I'm resurrecting a thread that was going on in May 04. Some people where
asking about how to become a qualified electrician as an alternative to
onI did and have been asked many times since how it's done, so I'm putting
answersome 1 day training courses for anyone who wants to know how.

If you have any specific questions please post to this group and I'll
in the thread.
How long would it likely take to achieve accreditation, assuming you're a
quick study?

It's difficult to give a precise time, because it depends on many factors.
It took me about 6 months, but a lot of that was fact finding. You can
probably do it in 3 months if you are very organised and prepared. I'll ask
around and see what the record is.

Stephen
