Hi all,
Well, reading this newsgroup i feel safe to ask my question being the
company of professional and consultants.
I've just recently obtained a degree in Artificial Intelligence, and am
at cross-roads in life as we all come across i am sure.
I would like to become self employed for a number of reasons,
essentially as it stands, becoming self-employed for me has more
benefits then going into employment. I would be interested in hearing
from readers / editors on here on their views on starting-up an IT
consultancy here where i live (Greater London) - the pro's and con's
and what your views are? I need advise - and lots of it. I am
considering a consultancy that will, to start with, deal with the SME
market and new start-up companies, providing hardware, software and
support services. Then, move into providing specialist software and
consultancy services as well - e.g. bespoke software solutions,
Information Security Solutions, Web hosting, Web design, etc.
Is there any demand for such services? Or am i better off seeking
employment rather then starting up?
All advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Faiz
