Are you sure you know what you are talking about? If the Windows 98
version is Second Edition, you should have no problem anyway. You
simply set up Internet Connection Sharing on the host computer. You
will need a network card and adapter for the second PC and for the
first, of course, but not necessarily a router. i.e use peer to peer.
having said that I haven't been able to get peer to peer working for
over a year, although, before that I had 4 computers at home hanging
off the one Broadband connection, also sharing printing resources. I'm
becoming paranoid that Bill Gates has done something to screw up peer
to peer because of security concerns.
