Re: Seek PCI card with USB sockets

My mobo has an internal socket for me to attach an additional 2 USB

So I could put these extra two USB ports at the back of the machine. To
do that I need an empty PCI card whose only function is to hold two USB
sockets.

Where can I get that?

Or would it just be easier to get a USB adapter card with its own USB
controller . Maybe like one of these:

If you are going to use up a PCI slot, why not get a card with more
USB slots? These cards cost next to nothing these days. Possibly less
than the thing you are looking for. You can never have too many USB
slots.

I'm surprised that you have no space on the front of your PC for USB
slots. I have a widget with a floppy and card reader that connects to
the USB.

As others have pointed out, though, be careful when buying to get
something with the right plugs on the end of the wires.
