WTB - UTP<>Coax Hubs or Media Converters or Switches

Hi,

I have a problem at a hostel in a listed building, trying to get the warden's bedroom connected to the office computer. There is the remains of an old coax network in place so am going to try using that.

But, will need a couple of "somethings" that can join the 10/100 UTP in the office to the coax and the coax to his 10/100 UTP laptop. Too far and too much granite for wireless.

A couple of old hubs would do it - if they have both one or more UTP and one or more coax connectors. Or a couple of UTP/10 Base-2 media converters.

Best I can find so far is a couple of hubs that I could have for 12GBP the pair including carriage.

Anyone here with something that would do the job?

Pretty Please!

Many thanks,
Sue
