Anyone know if there is a keyboard made for desktop use, USB preferably,
that is mechanically like a laptop keyboard? A desktop layout ideally, but
a laptop layout would do.
Reason? Nobody seems to make a half decent desktop keyboard anymore. By
that I mean where the key action doesn't deteriorate over time. Not since
the IBM type M have I found a keyboard that has the feel that suits me and
keeps the same feel for years with the possible exception of the HP
non-multimedia keyboard shipped with their PCs around the P133 era. Laptop
keyboards OTOH don't deteriorate and have a feel that I like.

I've IBM Model M keyboards for sale - £20 plus postage at cost. These
are fully cleaned in-and-out, and are the 'better type' with plug-in
connector and removable key-tops.
