Strangely, not such a negative when I take everything into account.
I'd agree with that. One thing to check with the supplier is what
amount of liability you have for problems,
e.g. If they let you specify a 200w PSU then allow twin SLI
7800 graphics cards and it doesn't work will they say "Well you chose
a stupid design so its your fault" or "Opps we shouldn't really allow
that configuration, our fault". Or more plausibly allowing you to
choose two sets of components that have an incompatibility, e.g.
cheapo RAM that becomes unstable on certain mobos.
