IMO you are understating the obvious.
It has been described as a 'gaming mouse'. Conjures up something more than a
simple 2 button jobby with scroll wheel.
As such it is very likely to have specialised drivers.
Palindromes response was fair, reasonable, technically correct and helpful
to any person who like the Op clearly doesnt know what the DSR's are.
