I had to rebuild a customers system this AM, after replacing a crashed Hard
Drive.
I inadvertently installed XP Home SP1 on the drive rather than SP2
Once all installed, I needed about 80MB of Windows Updates, before it would
let me install SP2.
SP2 was quoted at 150MB download, then it required a further 80MB download
of patches!!
I need to get hold of one of those SP2 standalone patch discs, I wonder if
Microsoft still have them.
One of my USP's is that any system I supply is patched to the most current
level I can make it at the time of delivery.
