Hi all,
Just thought I'd let everyone know about the terrible customer service I
received from the company www.stuff-uk.net
After buying a gaming mouse from them, which arrived on the 3rd Dec, I found
the mouse was randomly disconnecting itself momentarilly leaving the pointer
dead on the screen for a second or so. Obviously not great for a gaming
mouse :)
I wrote to them on the 8th Dec (within the 7 days stipulated by the distance
selling regulations) asking for a refund as the mouse was either faulty or
simply didn't like my PC (or my friend's, who tested it with exactly the
same result). They have since then basically refused to refund my money
saying the best they're willing to do is replace or repair it and giving me
the address for the Manufacturer. I've spoken to Consumer Direct who assure
me I am well within my rights to ask for a refund and it's simply the
Company not doing their job.
This has been going on for over a month now. I've just written a very stern
letter to them demanding that something be done. Here's hoping eh :S
I for one will not be shopping again with a company that provides such
shoddy after sales service and would recommend that everyone avoids them
like the plague.
Rant over, thaks for reading :D
