Your request sounds reasonable and may well be successful, thus
minimising your consequential costs. Advance replacement has worked
OK for me - you pay for the replacement but only get the refund
credited when they receive the faulty unit.
Don't even think of seeking compensation for the full consequential
cost impact - unless you are a very big spender - life's too short.
