I have a Nova T PCI card - the drivers are buggy, and a real PITA to update.
The app uses 20%+ of a Sempron 3000+ CPU (and 30MB of RAM - but that I don't
mind too much).
It has a nasty habit of increasing the GDI count for reasons I haven't
fathomed, and when that gets to 10000, expect trouble! (Having said that,
it's behaving today - GDI is at 293 after about 2 hours, and holding...)
Every now and then, if you change the screen size to something strange,
instead of redrawing the screen to a sensible shape, it just decides to give
up, and you get a blank screen until you restart the app.
I get different colour definition depending on what screen I use (DVI or
normal) and it is variable in the OSG front as well (which may be a
broadcast problem, rather than software)
The picture is OK - and I suspect that any deficiencies are more likely due
to my location than the card.
Hauppauge are currently denying any prospect of drivers for the (or any
other) card for Vista - and got snotty when I accused them of being
ostriches.
