info-tech systems

I'm obviously too late to warn off a group member who queried the
performance of infotech shop / info-tech systems in September but it is
worth having a note in the archive.
I purchased some relatively inexpensive items from them totalling only
£25. When a component (a transformer) failed within a week I
repurchased the whole (optical mouse) system so that I could confirm
the dud component and have other components as back ups. {the recorded
delivery return of the whole system was equal to almost half the
original cost!}
I returned the failed transformer using their RMA system and since then
- NOTHING. No answers to emails, telephone lines permanently busy.
This is since last August. Now the second transformer has failed - so I
am back to my trusty corded mouse.

Conclusion, buy elsewhere and buy better quality gear next time.
