If you're near Novatech, the you're also near www.refreshcomputers.com. They
do a dead pixel test, £10 for 15", £15 for 17" and £20 for 19", I think. I
have bought a fair amount from them (including a TFT monitor) and they're
OK, especially if you can get to the shop (in Purbrook, about 3 miles from
Novatech). Only problem may be that they do carry a restricted range of kit.
