I have the Palm keyboard that folds into four sandwiched pieces, ends
up being a little larger than the T3 and case. You can get bluetooth
laser display keyboard that project the keyboard onto the table, nice
geek appeal but I doubt it's very practical!

Yeah but I feel such a geek whipping out a foldable keyboard in the
middle of a meeting, so I continue to scratch away at pulped trees
with an inky nib. I don't know if you've found a decent diagram app
for the Palm or not that works for drawing diagrams in a meeting but
that would be a useful thing to have on occasion.

I've not noticed the battery life being shorter in extended mode but
then I've never measured, the T3 just turns the pixels in the unused
portion of the screen black, it's still backlit and still consumes
power so I've never thought it would eat more power when extended.

Mobipocket and Documents To Go are my fave ebook readers, Documents To
Go has excellent searching facilities and Mobipocket links into my
Oxford Pocket English dictionary for those times when I don't know
what a word means! Both support extended and landscape modes.

Yes, not impressed with the removal of the PUC and its replacement
with a USB and seperate power connection, I can't remember if the
connector on the newer palms is a standard USB plug, if so I suppose
that makes some sense as it means you'll usually be able to find a
lead, but if it can't recharge from USB then it's not as useful as it
could be.

I may get a pocket PC to replace my Palm for actual PDA use and
relegate the Palm to navigation duties, but I'd replace the Pocket PC
OS with Linux as that's what I use exclusively on my home machines,
Palm used to sync well with Linux but it's not so good any more with
the new contacts and calendar apps.

I still have my old M515, makes a great remote control with OmniRemote!
