Using a certain search engine's "groups" option (can't mention the
name in case I get bitched at again about not being constructive!)
with the term "treo 600 mapopolis" you get a few posts that confirm
that it works on the Treo, as does TomTom Navigator. Using same
search engine's web option throws up a long review comparing mapopolis
and Navigator on the Treo 600 on the following link which I think
you'll find very useful;

It's even got some comments from the developers and other users on the
page too, worth a good read and quite probably just what you're
looking for. It's not just about comparing them but goes through how
well they work on the 600 and 650.

I'm quite interested in the question myself which is why I read your
original post, as I have been contemplating a Treo of some kind to
replace my phone and Tungsten T3, although I think I make too much use
of the Tungsten for a Treo to really take over. I've got two of the
things, one in pretty much hourly use and one as a spare!

I'm sure the extremely helpful and always constructive Colin will be
along shortly to lend a hand too.
