Help! My mac has gone insane

I decided to give my Mighty Mouse a wipe this morning.

I unplugged it from the keyboard and wped it over. I plugged it in
again.

Perhaps i should not have done that without shutting down?

Anyway since then:
If I touch the Control key I zoom in - I can't find out how to zoom out
again (except by turning the Universal Access Zoom on and using
command-option-8);
I cannot use the vertical scroll bar - I can pull it down but it wants
to go back to the top all the time. The horizontal scroll bar is OK.
Right-click no longer works.
The scroll ball no longer works.

There may be other problems I have not discovered yet.

This still happens if I boot off an external archive disk.

Moving the keyboard an the mouse to different USB slots has no effect.

What has gone wrong? have I b*****ed up my mouse. Keyboard? the whole
computer?

Hey - vertical scroll came back for a few moment just then and has now
gone again.

I need help!
