Apart from the plethora of online accounts I'd have to change my email
address in, and of course my web address will change, is there any
reason I should keep using MobileMe? (would it benefit my iTouch?)
I think so. There are rumors though that Apple will offer free at least
wireless syncing with iTunes anyway very soon. For email it's rather
useless (underfeatured) anyway.
They added server side mail filtering recently, which is definitely a
good feature. I'm not sure how many other mail providers offer that.
Yes that works well and is especially useful if you have an iPhone.
Google has that of course, and top notch spam filtering, but Gmail on
the iPhone isn't great. Now if MobileMe had spam filters.......
You're right it doesn't - spam filtering is done in Mail.app. That needs fixing.
