And that's probably why the XP and Ubuntu UI feel so useable to me.
Stuff automatically goes into a menu when you install it. Windows
close how you expect them to close (the Window and the app), no dock
talking up space etc. But then I think I understand attracting Windows
users was part of the thinking behind Ubuntu (although there are many
more Linux Distros that also /look/ more like Windows) so that would
follow.
Funnily enough, dealing with the idea of 'mounting' stuff was made
easier for me in Ubuntu because of dealing with it in OSX. ;-)
